The location I have in mind isn't a campsite, it would be a 1 day daytime gathering only. Any preferences to a date and I'll see what I can sort out?

Not from me - just as much notice as possible so I have time to get the mig in a reasonable state to bring along! :y

Also please keep away from Bank Holiday weekends - driving down the M6 then is a nightmare!! :(

Female friend of mine has a 1.6 02 plate MX5 and to be honest, it's supposed to be a little two seater RWD fun car and it fits the bill 100%, certainly light years ahead of anything Rover / MG built in the same format and very reliable.

Does need a full tank of fuel in it though to get some weight over the back wheels  ::) ;)

Wouldent like an accident in one though mate, not like the mig, built like tanks. :y

I bought a set of 18s off a fitter at work, he told me they were vauxhall fitment.
Nope, no where near, so because i go them cheap there currently on ebay.
Else i wouldn't of had to do mine for a while.
But at least the sun is out, and my wheels shouldn't need any prep, just a rub  ;) ;)

I know I am living up norf, and I don't know how big Himley Hall is but on the 21st the following is taking place there:

Open Day - Earl of Dudley’s Memory Garden
St Michael’s and All Angels Church, Himley.
Sat 20 June 11.00am – 4.00pm
Sun 21 June 12.00noon – 4.00pm

The only opportunity in the year to view the evocative Earl of Dudley’s private Memory Garden last resting place of  ‘Gertie’ Millar, 2nd wife of the second Earl together with the 3rd Earl of Dudley, once a close friend of the Duke of Windsor.  Small admission charge, car parking in Himley Park (car park charge)

Band Concert Sun 21 June 2.30 pm – 5.00 pm
Cleobury Mortimer Concert Brass in concert on the Hall Lawns, bring your chairs and picnic, tea room open. Free admission

ftp://http://www.dudley.gov.uk/leisure-and-culture/parks-and-open-spaces/himley-hall/events-2009

Will this be a problem? If not, count me in :y

As its Fathers Day I can then pop to Worcester and say hello to the old man! ;D ;D Sorted!

The problem with Himley Hall is that it is owned by Dudley Council and they will charge for using it. Hence me trying to organise somewhere else. Will anyone be requiring camping facilities? I know an ecellent C&CC site not far away.

I did look at the date...
And by the look of it it seemed a quiet day.
As with regards to camping? I thought it was just a day meet?
I know they charge, but that's just the usual car parking charge.
