The camera doesn't do justice to the Wrynose and Hardknott Passes, that later is a 1 in 3 gradient...
Obviously not problem for the MV6....

They are awesome bits of road. If you catch them without some muppet trying to get a caravan up them, which you clearly did, looking at those pictures.
More of a challenge in a manual car, I found, as you really need to keep it on the boil. Done it in Emma's MX-5 and the Omega. Next time I WILL take the Westfield up there :o

It was locked in 1st and 2nd most of the way up (and locked in 1st on the way down). What the pictures do not show was the immense heat from the car (and it was a hot day as well, despite being hazy). At one point, temp creeped up to 97.5C (on the gauge)
