You don't say what area you're in in your profile, but I gather from the title you mean East Anglia.
We had a fairly large weekend meet in Norfolk in July so I doubt if another one will be planned for this year as the weather will be getting a bit chilly for camping.
Nothing to stop anyone from planning a small one day meet though. ;)

Not many adults amongst us, true.

A few overgrown kids, mind. ;D

Lazydocker have a look at Rose Farm just outside of Gorleston, they have a field at the top of the site that could be to your liking and away from the main site, we use it a lot good facilities and good people.

Looks nice... Only trouble is how far East it is  :-/ :-/ :-/

I know that there are quite a few people who will (most likely) attend but actually come from quite a way away.

I'm hoping to find something over towards the A1 to make access easier for most people

Yep... We've been contacting a few sites, although it's taken a back seat for the last couple of months due to other problems :( :(

I'd previously thought about organising a meeting down here somewhere.
However, having been to the Newent bash, have now got to agree that this venue is excellent, so knocked my original idea on the head thereafter.

It's conveniently situated for many OOFers too, so no wonder it's popular.

And ........ how many campsite owners would allow us to undertake on-site work on our cars eh?

Yeah, Newent covers the South West, is an excellent venue (even though not many facilities, never seems to be a problem?).

EA, if it gets back off the ground, covers the east, Lakes managed to cover the North of England and Southern Scotland. That means that most of our mainland members are never too far away from a weekender meet (except those further north in Scotland, and other extremes like Cornwall and Kent).

York has potential to cover the North, but the private comments a few have made to me are that the facilities are inadequate (particularly for the girls). No disrespect intended to anyone involved in organising it, as otherwise its a decent site.  Not as picturesque as Lake though.
