Somewhere in Bristol seems to be a plan and roughly central to everybody in the SW, how about Maccy D's in Cribbs Causeway just off of the M5 by the giant Walmart/ASDA???
Easy to get to, and plenty of parking available??

Just a thought, feel free to suggest anywhere else............?

Gaffers spent a while last year organising a "meet", which unfortunately had to be cancelled due to asbestos in the building he had found ....

At that meet it was planned to do a couple of cambelt changes, as well as other work.

It was also planned to have a mass "curry-fest" at a local hostelry in the evening.

so ... a meet, a cambelt party and a curry ...    gets my vote  :y :y :y

Hi guys, just reading through the forums...

I live in Sunny Sidmouth and definately up for a meet...

Obviously when i get my new Omega as the otherone is being collected later on today (head went and seller taking it back and giving a full refund)..

I will have another one by Easter Monday so after that would be good and a bit of notice aswell..

Would be nice to meet and greet people face to face rather than type to them all time....

Folk week is great - especially the illumonous orange cider!!!

The best pub to goto is the swan inn which tucked down behind the car parks and lifeboat station...

Great food and Great cider :y

On another note, how do we set up a meet in the southwest then...

Do we need carparks, buildings, pubs etc and how do we arrange a cambelt meet at the same time as mine is due and I wouldn't mind s diagnostics check either!!!!!!!

It's just a thought...

The only problem with this location is it's not that centrally if you have people coming from Dorset and Hampshire...

I will look for another location and post up more info later on today..

For a date how about either 2nd, 3rd or 4th week in June....

i have another idea for a meet... several infact
Compton Abbas Air Field - Nice little place on the "Higher Blandford Road" between Shaftesbury and Blandford. Good food, nice place for a cold one on a nice day, watch the plane etc etc...

Moors Valley - Near Poole/Bournmouth somewhere (cant remember i was a fair bit younger the last time i went their) Nice family place with loads to do if you have sprogs, free entry (parking is what you have to pay for as its all about being green etc etc) Food, Drink, large play areas, Tree Top Trail nice walk around the forest area with fun things for sprogs to do. Bikes permitted. Dogs welcome (usual rules apply) heres a link http://www.moors-valley.co.uk/visit/index.asp

Longleat - http://www.longleat.co.uk/ - nice place again similar to moors valley, safari park, longleat house, a Maze (biggest in EU) more info on the site
again long time since i been here but another thought

Greets

Maybe able to make a meet.

Saw two migs on sunday, one same colour as mine that I flew past on the expressway to Plymouth on sunday morning, the other silver one I saw parked in Queen Anne Battery car park on the same day. Anyones?

Mines easily spotted by the bad respray on the bonnet front   :o

I'd like to make this as my first meet.. and see some faces. My family are all over Somserset and Dorset so not an issue on location too much, closer to A303 the better for me :-)
Longleat would be ideal, or bit further down  - maybe Stourhead House way?
