Title: It doesnt sound bad to me.....
Post by: Taxi_Driver on 11 June 2007, 17:33:15
Got quoted on sorting out my front bumper this afternoon....

Remove bumper......get the crease smoothed out....sort out cracked paintwork and chips on it.....respray....so it looks like new.
Sort out bent ironwork behind the bumper so that the plastic air vent trim fits properly.
Refit everything.

£180 + paint

Hope they remove all the dead flies on it before respraying.....ive got quite a collection on the front of the car at the moment after the run up and down the m5/m6 this weekend  ;D

Yeah i thought it was pretty good......ive used the place before and it was a top job before  :y

While i was there i showed him the rust repair my local vx dealer did on my back door (which is starting to come through again  >:( ) He said he hadnt seen such a poor respray in a long time......he even pointed out (which i hadnt noticed before) the lines in the paint where they'd overmasked the rear window rubber  >:(

I bet I know what that is ;)

Be aware, some isp shared web space won't allow big files though...
