Title: MPH & Classic Motor Show pictures
Post by: ianu on 17 November 2010, 23:50:00
Hi all,
It's taken me a while to sift through all these and there are too many to practically display on here I reckon so hopefully this link will work (Let me know if it doesn't and I'll try again)

What a great show - again far too many cars to capture - here is my selected highlights. Loads to see in both the MPH and Classic arenas - not always that easy to get a decent photo of some of the cars - but with some creative angles and cropping hopefully sufficiently interesting enough to keep you hooked to the end.
Apparently one of the photos has 2 of the smallest production cars in the world in it (as featured on Top Gear with JC) - I'm damned if I can spot it  ::). There were loads of people also crammed round the stand also trying to find it and paying money to have their photo taken next to it  ;)

I found myself strangely transfixed by the American metal - the bright red Mustangs were awesome and the Eldorado - well what can you say  :o.

I think we've now entered into a whole new opportunity of possibilities with the very popular presence of 'wrapped' vehicles on display in the MPH hall. The effects were amazing from the mirror wrapped Citroen DS3 to the matt black wrapped M3 and Focus RS - absolutely stunning. The white wrapped bodies on the Citroen stand also took your breath away  8-) but wouldn't stand still long enough to get a picture..

Hopefully the quality of the website does the pictures justice - if you're interested in any let me know.

My car of the show  :-/... too difficult to call but in no particular order 5 of the best would be:
 :yAston Rapide
:yBlack wrap M3 - yes its only a beemer - but it looked stunning.
:yThe white Citroen DS3 - it looked fantastic honest  :-X
 :yMach1 Mustang + the one next to it (Ok that's 2  ::))
 :yThe black Jag XK150

What would you choose if you had the money  :question

..loads of classic stuff I didn't even photgraph..

Enjoy
Cheers
Ian.

..you're welcome.
Certainly was - I never really got chance to rummage round the autojumble stalls either - BUT I did manage to sign up for a free track day (they were giving away 1000 over the course of the weekend) that includes a drive of a Lambo' & Ferrari. Date to be confirmed for next year.
