Title: testing the water for a mini North Wales meet
Post by: vauxsull on 24 July 2011, 11:15:05
Hello people out there...
My wife runs a small cafe in Holywell in North Wales which has its own private carpark to the rear which will hold around 20 vehicles comfortably.... free to park, cafe facilities and toilets also..
Any feed back on this idea would be good...

Cheers... Keith.....

Well thats not bad is it ? 3 so far...  Had a word with the wife and she'll offer a discount for those from the forum using the cafe.... Only 20 mins drive  past the Chester services meet we had last November but no security cameras watching who's there... As mentioned earlier the car park will only be available for members of the OOF....

Righty ho then peeps...

Would Saturday August 6th be favourable for those that want to meet up? I'l be here regardless anyhow...
I do realise its a little out of the way for those living in outer mongolia though...

So then for those that are interested in coming and are using satnav type in ... St Winifredes well Holywell . The wife tells me if you type in the postcode it'll take you elsewhere???

The secluded carpark for the OOF members is to the rear of the cafe and i'll ensure the gate is open..

As far as times go i'm here all day from 10am till 5pm so those that are interested in coming you can all chat amongst yourselves :y

If you get lost in the area give me a buzz and i'll try and direct you....... 07985417975...

Keith.......

As said earlier on this thread i'm at the cafe all day from 9am till 5pm so for all those wanting to pop along you'll have to arrange that for yourselves but i would have assumed people may have been thinking around midday (ish)..

So shall we say doors open from 12pm then?  saves all those people travelling from afar having to leave home at 5am  to get here ;D ... I shall leave my Miggy across the road from entrance to carpark as a beacon so you know that your in the right place...

           Keith......

They say to use progressively finer wet & dry and then things like T cut  or 3G polishing paste. I've tried using a grinder type mop with not much success  :-/ :-/

Oh it all sounds so complicated....rub it with this rub it with that , smooth off with the other.... new lights maybe?..... Anyway folks I'm looking forward to meeting up with fellow enthusiasts tomorrow in Holywell...
The exact location is behind the Holywell arts and craft centre about 20 yards past St Winifreds well church..
I shall park my own car ( gold miggy) across the other side of the road to the entrance to the car park as a marker that your there....
