Nice looking Omega v6 motor in AutoTrader, just a shame that the price is out of reach for me ?.
Anyone else think this is expensive, or reasonable ?. Or even maybe looking for something on these lines ?.
Hope the link works okay.

Seen this one myself and may be tempted to be honest, just weighing up the dosh situation as i have 4 migs at the moment and to be honest a 5th wont hurt ;D ;D

Reckon if I had the spare cash I would offer £2,900 for that. 8-) 8-) Very nice, but what is the mileage? :-? :-? Do I need my glasses again? :D :D ;)
-
hmmm nice, but as said, lack of mileage info is a worry, plus they seem to think it has roof bars....?
-
Doesn't say, which makes me wonder if it's high ?!.

Considering how rare Omegas are with the full kit & wheels is, I don't think that he's asking too much, maybe slightly high, but not excessive. We've had this conversation many times .... cars are worth what someone is prepared to pay. And it's not as if you could go & buy a kit now even if money was no object. :y

Yep, I'd say it's a nice motor. Looking at the photos of the dash the engine is running, in which case is the light on the dash the handbrake light or the emissions light?

mmm a 3.2 Elite from 2002 ... should have, I think, a full CID with satnav ?? the controls are all there on the ICE panel .. but the picture looks decidedly not like mine !!!

Nice car but way too expensive. See my post " Omegas at auction ". I know there wasn't an Elite, but the estate ( more desirable in my opinion ) was a CDX model, plenty of toys and comfort, it DID sell for £1100, + buyers premium of £100, allow £500or £600 for servicing etc. You can do the sums yourself. However if you have your heart set on buying an Elite then try and get the best one you can, as I'm sure you'll already know.

Yes, MOT, belts, oil, decent tyres, valet etc, it would be the first thing I would do when buying a car from auction. If I was going to keep it anyway.
