well what a 2 days discovered the job has been don b4 badly oil cooler bolts were proper rhino wristed up flttened seals and grey sealant everwhere not to mention oil pipe unions missing,still flushing goo out 11 times and its still present lol

I found once oil coolers are fitted to not add anti freeze straight away, just keep dropping the water and refilling to try and dilute what gloop you have in there at first, put Forte in doing what the instructions say, then drop the water as instructions, followed with loads of clear water again running it for a few days constantly dropping and refilling until the water is lovely and clear. Then add the anti freeze :y

thats the plan mate will be ding it again tomorrow as there is still traces in the tank stuck to the sides will take time but will get there

Just trying to stop you wasting your anti freeze until the water is clear :y

it just wont come off the inside of the header tank!! think i may need to replace have tried everything now,had the tank off,full of swarfega still there tried degreaser ..still there many other detergents and its still present anybody near stoke got a facelift header tank thats clean?
