I've been looking for ages for a facelift elite light grey leather interior to put in my CDX and had no luck. On ebay there's a 2001 Omega with the interior I want. This is the 2nd time it's been on there. I'm considering buying the car for the interior and taking it out to put in my CDX and putting my CDX into that Elite. How much do you think the car in the ebay link is worth, and what could I do with it when I've finished? I only want the interior and nothing else from it.

For a start you will devalue to Elite by putting a non leather CDX interior into it surely......??
Seems a long winded and expensive way of doing it to be honest.......??

I agree that it's a long winded way of doing it, but I've been looking for a very long time for that interior. I'd rather just buy the interior not the whole car, but it might be the only option.

I might have missed a trick or be colourblind but the ad looks like a cream interior and you mentioned you wanted it grey?

There were three leather colour options, black, beige and light grey called shale by Vauxhall. That may look beige but is definately light grey. When you put the two together you can see the difference.

I think i've been surfing too long tonight as my eyes need testing!!

The listing says "Cream Leather" ;) & it looks cream

Am I the only one who prefers cloth? Leather is hot and sweaty in summer, and cold in winter (and heaters don't entirely overcome this).
Additionally, in particular the non sports leather fitted in Omega looks a bit naff
Or is it just me?

I agree that the non sport leather looks a bit old and naff. :y

This is one of the reasons GNU and I are sooon to part company --- the missus bends my ears every time she gets in it ... Too hot !! Too cold!! Too sticky !!! Too slidy !!!! ::) ::) ::) ::)

Seems dodgy to me. Sold a Vectra in June for his "brother in law" now selling a "low" mileage Elite for his "brother in law" :-? :-?

No you aren't the only people who dislike leather. We looked for ages to find a light interior none leather.... Godsend in the heat here and warm in the cold winters we also get.

I prefer facelift leather mind you to pre-face. Sport is the best leather :y

I would have given my eye teeth for my car in black leather when I was looking for one, but made do with cloth. Gotta say though, the seats are super-comfy and could drive it all day, can't say the same about the slidy, creaky, hard leather seats in my brother's Audi.

No, you're not the only one. I dislike leather, it looks & smells nice, but as you say hot & cold.
I really wanted a Elite or CDX spec, but i dislike sun roofs & leather, so i purchased a CD spec & added the goodies my self ;)
