Title: CV boot

Any advice on stretching a cv boot around the end of a driveshaft? Only I haven't got one of them cone thingys.

I used 1 of these, took about 10 minutes to fit each one with the drive shafts on the bench.

What car?

Some cars have plastic boots (they last much longer) and hence its a CV joint off job as they wont stretch.

Its off a hyundai sonata :P And the bloke I bought it off said they are the ones that stretch.
