Title: Trafic wheel bearing take 2
Post by: Del Boy on 23 August 2009, 21:31:38
My rear wheel bearings turned up, already in the discs, may have a bash at fitting meself done others, can you tell me, doesn't look like it's a tapered bearing, do these rear wheel bearings need to be tourqed up or just done up tight?

Someone said you may not have to as it's not tapered, if they do need to be tourqed anyone know what the tourqe setting is, looked on the net can't see nothing  :(

They will certainly need to be set with a torque wrench. If it's a sealed bearing it's normally quite a high setting and you'll need a new hub nut.
