I was ready to sell my omega not long ago. I went round loads of garages around my area and everyone of them came up with some kind of plan to rob me of some serious penny's! I put a post on OOF explaining what was happening and got some really sound advise. One member Darth Loo-knee phoned me up and explained loads to me about what the problem's was. He came round the next day and stripped my engine down showing me everything. He explained what i would need and what i could change to make the engine run sweetly. As daz knew what he was doing i let him do the work and From now on i would never use another mechanic EVER!!! He did a brilliant job and didnt charge hardly anything to do it. Very Very good man and he seriously know's what he is doing. Cheers daz

What was the actual problem?
Edit to add - money is on camcover gaskets?

The famous Daz Loo-knee type person also visited Scotland recently (very brave in a pink T-shirt...) and worked his magic on my two Omegas - my 3.2 Elite which had only 15,500 miles on it has now added another 10k on the clock. The 2.6 CDX, which also had the cambelt, tensioners, water pump and TLC from Daz, got sold this weekend for a very reasonable £1400.
I'm now down to only 1 Omega instead of my usual 2 or 3! :'(
Thanks Daz, your the pupsnutz mate. :y
