Title: Facelift wing trim with side repeater question...
Post by: Welung666 on 14 September 2009, 19:51:36
How the hell does it come off? I've sold the ones on the gold car. I've done the door strips and taken the repeaters out but I can't figure out how the short wing strips are held on! Is there a screw in those to?

Sounds strange I know, but have you tried sliding the strips either to the left or right, as I know some car strips are held on by clips that simply slide on snuggly rather than clip or screw on.

Get a piece of wood inbetween the trim and hammer, and give the trim a bit of a tap one way, then the other and see if it moves ?.

Got an idea to see if theres a screw head, though not sure if it'll work too well ?.

Get a magnet with weak / medium strenghth, and drag it along the strip, and see if the mag becomes more stronger at certain points, if you understand what I mean ?.
Like I've say, not sure if the idea will work ?.
