.......nipped it into kwikfit on Friday, waste of time that was, so down to powerflow later this week, as they may need to do some adaptations depending on whether they can get the rusted section out of the back box, where it has the hole, almost all the way round, just waiting for it to fall off at the mo, left it too long :-X
-
good luck, be interested to know how much they will quote.
-
Already had a quote from Longlife in Essex cats back excluding tailpipe/silencer £389.00 excl; vat, so £448.00 total :-X, powerflow are closer and in Bromley 20/25 minute drive, rather than an hour to the longlife place in Essex.

One exhaust pipe is rusted into the pipe at the silencer, which he said was stainless steel ::), (thought it was just standard steel on the irmscher back box's), said they would be unlikely to get the rusted section out from the back box, so recommended stainless :-?
-
so you go for stainless steel now 8-) :y. what plans for your rusted irmscher back box??
meybe you want sell? :D

Wanted to go stainles anyway, so they done me a favour, they just don't know it, also pointed out that the EBC front discs are corroding/build up of rust on the inside edge, which they are :-X

You would want to keep a twin irmscher back box.
How many miles have the discs done do you know?

Sounds very expensive given it excludes the back box!

Well had the cats back stainless exhaust fitted yesterday, excluding back box £330.00, done a good job, and sounds great, not too loud, jut right in my view, has a nice rasp to it at a certain rev :y
