They were complete mares to balance ... has some on the Cortina had to set them up on a weekly basis ... those were the days .. :)

Nice looking car,but a bit too big and heavy imo.The Strombergs were standard fitment - crap imo, best to sling them in the bin and stick a pair of twin 48 dellortos or webers on. :y

Looks good :y
I had the same clocks in my Viva, 8-)
But I dont like the look of the timing belt, hoses to close and not protected at all, looks a bit dangerous imho :-/

But a zillion times better than the SU's......and they held thier tune unlike SU's!

Sadly, they fell out of favour as the SU's had more bits available for them

I should add, I would probably give a left testical for a car like that.....and to me, a much betetr motor than the likes of the Escort RS's and Crapi's

For sale, 1 left testical, only used twice in anger, surplus to requirements. Realisation that '2 kids is more than enough' forces sale. No test pilots!. All offers considered or would consider swap for a Droop Snoot Firenza.

I would agree that its a better car than any Crapi, but not the RS Escorts,it was to big/heavy/cumbersome to compete with them.Having said all that I would have my old HS above any of them. :)
