Title: vectra 2.2i sri 05 cambelt change

 mate of mines looking to buy a vectra
2.2i direct sri on a 05 plate ,needs to know  when to change the belt etc ,and if any one knows of any on going problems with this model  :y :y :y :y :y

Keep on top of those oil changes, otherwise the chain will go  ;)

Vauxhall probably recommend 20k changes ::) ::) ::)

I'd probably do 2 or 3 within the first 5k, then every 3500 or so... Especially if using genuine Vx parts on TC :y :y

yes if you dont change the oil the chain oil hole blocks  up with dirty oil & snaps the chain

excellent will pass all this on to him ,change the oil on my mig every  3000k miles , know he does the same  on his mondeo  :y

Sorry folks,camchain im talking about,think the engine oil would be more like engine toffee at that mileage. ;D :y
