Title: Is there anyway to get
Post by: Del Boy on 28 September 2009, 20:08:41
A free HPI check, found a cheap 530d 2004 private plate, sports leccy seats, I-drive everything.

Anyway I highly doubt it but is there anyway to get a free HPI check?

used to be away on eBay, attempt to list a car and i think it would do one, then cancel it or something.... although i think that loop hole was closed.

That said there are those txt ones which cost £3, although i heard various reports they lack accuracy

I've used the text ones myself and for the tiny outlay they are excellent. Not an HPI check I know, but if you want a bit more history, and who doesn't, then try www.motinfo.gov. You'll need the reg number and V5 ref number or mot cert number. Tells you what the cars failled on and advisorys back to 2006. Not bad for free!!!
