Title: Changed to winter wheels today
Post by: waspy on 08 October 2009, 16:33:18
I took off my 18's & replaced them with my old CD 16's.
I checked the tread & I found a nail in one of the 18's, fortunatly it was in at around 40 deg & so no damage done :y
She looks very strange with the smaller wheels, i've not driven her yet, but i know she'll handle like a jelly now :-[ :'( ;D

The 16's have also been checked for any thing out of the ordinary, but all ok :y :) :)
Pleased i kept the old wheels now, just the thing for winter 8-)

Not true - colder winters - wetter summers.

Why?

Because the arctic ice is melting which means more colder water is flooding down into the northern atlantic which is pushing the gulf stream (which gives us our moderately warm climate) further south and hence colder winters.

We have wetter summers because more heat means more water vapour in the atmosphere hence more precipitation (rain).

Yes I know that mate, but you seem to be using 18's for the rest of the year? Surely the speedo readings are different, or am I just being dim? :-/
