It's not down to BMW,it's the state of the roads in Surrey.
So if you have trouble with you BMW alloys don't tell them you go any where near southern England
What a load of tosh !!!!

BMW bike warrantys cover everything bar consumables (shocks, pads, tyres) Includes wheels too, they are seen as consumable items.

Unless they can prove its a build issue, your in for a fight.

From BMW Bike forums, they are generally excellent for paying out on mechanical issues.

Maybe not, but if the potholes were to blame I am sure there would be damage to the outer part of the rim in the way of rim damage rather than hairline cracks.

If you can get a report stating it is not a manufacture fault but the damage was caused by bad road surfaces you can claim from the local council as i did when back in the 90s i came off my Laverda Jota.Large pothole.claimed for all damage to bike and leathers.Elmbrigde council(Esher Surrey) settled out off court within 2 months and road was resurfaced with in 2 weeks.Just get pictures before they cover the holes up.
