Title: Valuation please
Post by: mantahatch on 27 October 2009, 14:08:23
I am looking at buying a 2001 51reg 3.2 Elite with 90,000 miles on it in good condition with full service history and cloth seats which I prefer anyway.
It is in a second hand car dealers lot. I have no knowledge of this dealer but he is in a good area and comments I have found on the internet indicate he is good, and has been at this particular site for 10+ years.

What is a reasonable price for a car like this please.

Many Thanks

For a guide...... I've just paid £2300 for a 03 plate 2.2 auto CD saloon. That's from a local VX dealer.

Thanks Joff, they are asking £2695. On the one hand I think it is expensive, but on the other hand it ticks virtually every box in my want list. :)

Sneaky FREE back door way into Glass's online guide

http://www.westawaymotors.co.uk/daihatsu/daihatsu-dealer-new-cars.htm

then click bottom right of page "value your car"  :y

Gives dealers part-ex prices; they should not have embedded this (free!) link, but there it is!

Used it 150+ times for free.  TELL NO-ONE!!!!!!
Always better selling Omegas via here than trading them-this link gives an idea what a dealer would pay for it.

Thanks everyone.
I feel it is probably worth roughly what he is asking for it.

there are so many price valuation sites around and every one will give you a diffo price. if you like the mig and are happy with the price then buy it and enjoy you only live once :y :y :y as when you get to the other side you wont need a car. ;)
