Popped into National tyres this morning to have two tyres fitted to my Range Rover (tyres from www.tyre-shopper.co.uk).
Wifes Elite estate needs a new exhaust which I priced at around £130 from eternal car. Thought i'd have a laugh and ask how much from National tyres-£415 for the same parts (three silencers)-admittedly this was including fitting and a little discount!
About to place the order with Eternal Car. I remember I bought an exhaust for my 2.5 estate over 5 years ago and this cost over £300 at a local exhaust center.

You can do much better than that, chap ;)
Just had all three sections myself-bought decent Bosal three-part system via trade through a used car dealer and gave him the cash, then got them fitted in a friendly workshop for a few quid.
Kwik-fit wanted £386 >:(
Not got receipts with me, but was around £200ish all in :y

Where are they?? ;)

Just about to order on myself from Eternal - comes to about £112 for the three sections and all of the fittings (not including delivery). Going to get James to fit it :y :y LongLife quoted me £380 for a stainless job, but were willing to discount it to £340. Eternal are well recommended on the forum as being good value and decent quality - best option as the original GM dual-walled jobs are like hen's teeth to find.... :y

Ha ha ;D Me too, but it's going at the usual place, just behind the back box.... don't think it's going to see another winter, but not bad going for 7 1/2 years! :y
