Title: ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS
Post by: Ronald_McBurger on 15 June 2007, 17:49:53
I have just got home following a meeting with my son's school, in which I called the head teacher a f***ing moron that should not be allowed within 100yds of a child.

For those that don't know, my son was assualted at school last Friday. His left arm was broken and he was punched in the head by a 12 year old Big fat girl. Now, if anyone is thinking of adding any comments about a girl beating up my son, be careful I will get in my car and come and kick your arse HARD.

This large lump assaulted my son, who tried by all means not to retaliate. He is after all a black belt in karate and it would look bad if he was seen beating up a girl wouldn't it. But eventually he had no choice than to hit back.

So, the punishment. Well, the girl spent 2 days in isolation at the school and.... thats it.

BUT the school wants to put my son in isolation because in the middle of this mele, my son threw some water towards the crowd of her friends and her to try and get them to back off.

The crap school think that is SERIOUS and he must be put into isolation. OVER MY DEAD BODY I told them. The head teacher tried to justify this by stating that the girl did not mean to break his arm and that my son called her a 'hairy face'. For F*** SAKE, what the hell is wrong with this country? I am absolutely hopping mad and tomorrow we have ITV getting involved.

They have picked the wrong person to mess with this time. I left the meeting after telling the head teacher that this was utter bo11ocks and that if they put my son in isolation I put them on TV. I then slammed the door so hard that the whole school shuddered. (well I do have a shortish fuse).

But, have you ever heard anything so inept in your life? Can you imagine the messages this sends to both this f***wit girl and my son. She will know that if you break peoples arms you get a bit of a break in a special classroom. My son knows that as the victim of a serious assault you get punished.

I think its fair to say we all are on your side Ronnie  :y

But do try to chill - yes easy for me to say i guess - and i would probably react as you did ( i also have a short fuse)

Let us know how you get on and if theres anything we can do. Although i guess theres not much we can do to help your sons arm  :(

We are all a sensible bunch on here and frankly nothing that happens in this country these days surprises... >:(

This "child" thug is the sort of person that my wife will be "caring" for in a secure unit in years to come so i guess the taxpayer will keep her nice and cosy.

I totally sympathise with you Fin. Unfortunately, that's the way the country's gone under this namby pamby bloody government run by the PC brigade. These days the victims get worse treatment than the offenders >:( >:( >:(

The sooner we get shot of Blair and his poxy nanny state PC brigade, the better!! No wonder so many true Brits are deserting this country in droves - if I had the resources I'd be doing the same.

Politically correct, pseudo intellectual, bureaucratic fool is what I think Fin is trying to describe this headteacher as...  >:(

You see, and I am choosing my words carefully now, the "girl (term applied in the biological sense only)" happens to be of "afro carribean" origin, wheras Fin's son happens to be of mixed race.

Now this headteacher is clearly too frightened/politically correct or inept to actually exclude a child from an "under priveleged background" for the "issues" this may cause....

In short, this complete waste of space (the headteacher) has neither the intelligence nor the fortitude to do the right thing as this may upset the other idiots who seem to be taking over local governments departments!!  >:( >:( >:(

Fin, I will speak to you later (preferably after a couple of beers!). But for now, I say don't just get angry, get public!

Until a proper demonstration of our democratic right to voice our opinions (via a very public medium) is carried out, these shadowy characters will continue to erode the lines between right and wrong!

Fin,

Nobody will make any adverse comments here mate. We are all with you on this one - Plus, Girls can be just as nasty as boys! And they know boy's aren't meant to hit back.

Sounds like a clear case of favouritism to me, I hope you have some luck with the TV companies.

If I'm feeling better, I'll hope you see you Sunday if you can make it :y

i hate seeing girls fight, seriously they're animals, even at 12.

I really hope you get a positive result on this, I broke a bone in my foot almost a year ago and still I feel twinges

i dont know how they can say "she didnt mean to break his arm" when at the end of the day his broken arm was a result of her mallicious actions, not a complete accident

pursue to the fullest mate

Can't help wondering what the outcome would be if your son had broken her arm, i bet there would be hell to pay. Going down the press/publicity route is a top idea, if you throw enough of the brown stuff some of it will stick

I totally agree with the way you have reacted to this Fin. It's about time we stopped being put in our place by namby pamby politics. Give them as much shit as you can and tell them exactly what you think of them, just stay this side of the law, just.
IMO girls have become the way boys were a few years ago, however they still beleive that it is not right for a boy to hit a girl. Wrong! if a girl thinks it is ok to hit a boy then she should expect to get hit back.

Defend your kids with all your might, as nobody else will.

It all comes back to this patheitc "not letting there be any losers at sports day" cr@p if you ask me. They can't be seen to judge and therefore punish the one who was in the wrong but have to be even handed and dish out the same to both parties involved. We're in for a hell of a ride when this generation grow up and, perish the thought, some of them will be running the country, policing it and running the court system.

I really feel for your lad, Fin. I think you're right to make it as public as you can. That's the only way sane thinking people will hear about it and start to ask what the hell's going on.

I've read through carefully. Your son had the self discipline to hold back so you have to keep your hands in your pockets as well. I do'nt blame you for wanting to slap the first thing that moves, when your offspring are hurt or threatened our instincts can take over very fast. I'm a Dad too.
I ca'nt help but wonder what sort of background this girl comes from.
Be patient & rise above these lowlives & you'll come out winning your sons side. Try to stay calm & remember the bad never prosper.
Keep us all posted, regards to you & yours, Guy.

Fin, as I said before, your next stop is to get in touch with the chairman of the governing body. Disciplinary decisions made by the head are subject to appeal by an panel of governors (not including the head). You never know, they may be waiting for an excuse like this.  ;)

Very true. And the governors are likely to be made up, at least in part, of concerned parents like yourself and not brainwashed to be PC like the staff.

Thanks Guy. But I am going to hit them.... with TV exposure and a law suit on Monday. They have a durty of care. After talking with my solicitor this evening it has been confirmed that the school head could be charged with neglect. The pupils concerned could be charged with attempted murder too because they attempted to stop my son breathing.

In any event, I will not be doing nothing and waiting for it to go away. I am one of those people that doesn't take no for an answer. The intriging thing is that this girl is almost 13, yet still in year 7. That amkes me wonder if she is one of those special cases?

After some digging tonight, it turns out that in addition to the gun that was in the school 3 years ago that they could not find, or the teacher who was assaulted by a pupil who was allowed to return 3 weeks later, last year a female teacher suddenly disappered on a course. I thought I smelt a rat and have unearthed the fact that she was in fact caught running a swingers party and was struck off as a teacher.

This teacher was teaching my child last year, so I will now be adding child endangerment to my list of matters as the school left a pervert to teach him. I will eb doing a LOT of research.

Wow. Guns? Disappaering teachers? Swingers? at school?
We used to have fights, skive lessons take girls up to field if we could & got caned if we were caught, all the usual stuff in the 70's. Things must've moved on since even my sons day & he's nearly 22.
Still my thoughts are with you & your lad & i will watch this post.

unfortunately thats school logic, since I have been in education now most of my life and working at a school for a year recently i am not surprised.

One of my early primary school head teachers, told my parents i should be transfered to a special school because i was violent at school!  :o - No Joke!!! Really did happen.

Those who have meet me (in particular Jaime), are now at present rolling around the floor laughing i bet.....  :D

Teachers and parents generally have no idea how rough schools are, if you don't defend yourself you leave yourself open for more attacks.

Sounds like you done some great digging there... should make the school quickly change their mind  :y

Ronnie do you have a statement detailing what the other sides version of events or just your sons side of events......whilst you may not wish to believe its possible, maybe there's more too this than your aware of.

Does sound very odd (from previous thread) that a gang of 20 kids would attack your boy unprovoked...and throwing water.??? sorry to say this mate but it doesn't sound as straight forward as it might appear, really think you should (if you haven't already) get a detailed statement from all involved.

I was nearly expelled from school when i was 14 due to savagely attacking a female teacher.....nearly blinded her and of course this was a premeditated attack (headmasters words).....only when the police was called in and parents called out of work to attend school before the police took me away did the truth actually come out,the female teacher simply run over to where i was hitting a class mate (boys will be boys)  and accidentally walked into my elbow, she said it was a simple accident and partly her fault.....still classed as a thug by the teachers from that day on.

So you see how situations can be black and white until you dig a little deeper and things become not so straight forward.....i do hope you end up resolving this, just remember as children we don't always tell are parents the whole truth. :y

Although I hesitate to mention this - I would consider reporting the assault to the police.

Nothing gets me going more than parents calling the Police to a school to sort out 'bullying' - total waste of time.

However, when bones start being broken, that crosses the line if there is any suspicion of intent/recklessness.

They will be obliged to act regardless of the school's wishes.

Something to consider, if only to use as a bigger stick to wave at them.

I realise you are very switched on & already have consulted your solicitor - as a detective sergeant with 20+ in the police would be glad to help

Hope it works out.

http://www.bullying.co.uk/

As a parent currently dealing with a situation like this with both the school and the police involved you need to realise that mental abuse is just as bad as physical in some cases and it is unfortunate that the current situation that the only way that anything can be done is by getting the police involved. Give the schools back the powers to deal with trouble properly rather than the teachers being critisised for not doing anything.

The lad involved in our case got a two day exclusion because that is all that they can dish out so basically he got a long weekend off.

The police are involved through graffiti and comments on BEBO stating my wife is dealing drugs and my 14 year old daughter is carrying out practices that I cannot mention on here due to decency and yet we may need to change her school, our phone number or move house due to this malicious, slandering little s*** as there is not much that the current legal system can do.

Rant Over

Fin,

Best of luck with the case and keep your cool or you will be the one charged.

Bullies usually have a few victims. It may be worth the others getting together with their heads covered, get the bully alone and beat him up.

This usually cures bullying, worked for me twice, one beaten up near home,  the other I started to strangle at school!

Thanks guys. Police have been involved from 10 minutes after this happened. The total numberv of people present was around 100, of which around 15-20 were the other persons mates egging them on.

What you are missing here is that my son is very well known. he has appeared on television many times and is regarded as a very high achiever to put it mildly. Appart from attending Warwick university at 14 and being a concert level pianist, he is ultra intelligent and is a world record holder as he is still the youngest person ever to join Mensa.

All these things add up to one very smart young man. He is also a 2nd Dan Black Belt in Karate and is very capable of dealing with violence. He tried to avoid it in this case because his attacker was a girl (albeit a very nasty one). Hence why he retalitaed to the third assault with throwing half a bottle of water at her and the group. It was because of this that the school tried to punish my son.

I have informed the school head teacher (who is inept) that next time he has my full backing and suppoirt to retaliate to violence with sufficient violence to prevent further injury.

The whole thing leaves a nasty taste in the mouth. Of course I am not looking at this through blinkers. I know exactly what my son is like and how he behaves. He is a genuinely lovely young man and was picked on by a half baked moron simply because he is smart.

Laidback knows my son very well and I am sure he will vouch for his attitude, temprement and general manner.

Graffiti removal or hiding is not vandalism - try paint similar in colour!

Dealing with bullies requires alibis and hide the face (unlike the days of old when hitting a bully was acceptable)
