All i know is i drove home, switched it on and the blower speed increased slightly and colder air came out, but having said all that have scince dicovered that one of the valves leaks where you pump the gas in  >:(, so now trying to get a replac ement valve, hope to sort it out tomorrow and kwik fit said they would re-gas it when i bring it back fixed. :)

Not sure, guess they just screwed the cap back on and left it, it doesnt seam to leak with the cap on, you cant hear or feel anything but as soon as you unscrew it you can hear the gas hissing and when you put your finger over the valve you can feel the pressure. Am guessing this is why it didnt work before, not fixed in the past as couldnt justify spending c£50 to find it had a broken pipe or a big leak but £25 is a better bet and the leak i have is not to difficult to fix ::)
