Long shot - anyone semi-locally able to lend me a pair?
Got so fed up of being shoved around depts. at hospital this afternoon... walked out :(

Sorry mate, all I got here is wheelchairs and the mum-in-law will be immobile without it!

As a makeshift, old broom and handle, cut off all the bristle and wrap some cloth/padding around it for 'comfort'.

know what you mean about that hospital, Cheltenham General I take it?  :(

Try contacting your local Red Cross, not the charity shopie, but the branch. Or your local social work dept.

They should be able to lend you some. :y

i have spares, but how far from good old wigan are ya?

i broke my foot last year, i occasionally use the crutches on nights out, the sympathy gets me to the bar quicker!!

I have a pair here. If you need them we'll try and do something, but I do need them back. I use them every 3 months when my back injections come up. Proper metal ones, adjustable.

I am in nottingham til friday and travel to plymouth on fri eve, if you are near M1, M42, M5 i could spin by and drop them off if you want?
