Title: running with the HBV Vac pipe off
Post by: tunnie on 23 November 2009, 14:38:35
So i noticed the vac pipe on my HBV had popped off last week, i put it back on but noticed the heating is not what was.

My understanding is with the Vac on, it will route water past the matrix, with it disconnected, all water goes into the heater matrix? Could explain why the heat was super warm past few months  8-)

Is it ok to run the car with this vac disconnected? Cause heating feels a bit weak now compared to what i was

You're right - no vacc = heat

If it's playing up with all vacc pipes connected, try a climate reset...
