I've been looking at the rear of my car recently and thinking the wheels could come out to meet the arches a bit.

Not the front so much. But def the rears. I know Albatross has spacers all round, and Bob Dent has much wider wheels on the back to fill the rear wheel arch a bit ( a lot ) i guess. Does improve appearance imho. But no personal experience. They do seem very pricey for what they are.

They do put slightly extra load on some running parts like bearings.
I ran some many years ago, because the front wheels i had needed to be spaced out from the suspension etc.
If you decide to have some, let me know, bcause my mate has a spares shop & i have a trade account. Some items i get 50/60% off, but i'll have to ask ;) I could post them to you & it could save you a few quid :y

what about these  http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Hubcentric-Wheel-Spacers-Vauxhall-Astra-G_W0QQitemZ330343706124QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_3?hash=item4cea04ee0c

i know there listed for an astra but the pdc is the same but you would need to check on the center bore.    I have the same make spacers fitted to the rear of mine and had no problems with them in the 18months they've been on.

The Omega's 65 too. Shame about the £54.50 price tag :o

£55 for a pair of 20mm hubcentric spacers is cheap  the likes of h&r etc are about £120- £150.

110 to 120 not unusual from what i've seen, steep for 4, but 2? Just daft!
