Just been to the dealer to collect some manifold nuts and studs. I'd ordered 4 helicoil-type nuts for the downpipe (#9157116 @ £2.30 ea) plus 10 manifold nuts (#11082413 @ £0.34 ea), but once collected I noticed half of manifold nuts where helicoiled.
Apparently Vauxhall has changed the part number for manifold nuts to be the same as downpipe ones and next time you have to pay £xtra for something you didn't ask for! That's £19.70 for a set of 10 nuts :o >:(

Hi mate
Sorry to tell you but your Dealer is feeding you a pile of C$%£.
11082413 is a normal manifold nut, Copper coated with a squashed end for locking on the stud.
They DO NOT come with the silver helicoil. I've got 50 nuts in stock and non have the heli.
If Vauxhall's had made them Heli's then they would have changed the part number which they haven't
Hope that helps
Andy

That's what I was told: they've changed the part number to be the same as the downpipe Heli nuts. I only paid the 34p for the nuts but got Heli ones instead which cost over £2. I suspect I have to pay the £2.30 next time I need to buy these.

Well if you need any more of the normal nuts then just give us a ring
cheers

Well thats interesting as the nut for the downpipes is a different size to that of the manifold!
Dealer cock up me thinks!
