Why not spend the extra handful of notes and uprate ?

Of the Genuine VX Batteries the largest (physical battery size that is) that will fit on the battery tray and the jacket still fits over is the 85ah one.
-
I'm sure someone reported that the 85Ah battery won't fit in a 3.2. :-/
My 3.2 certainly has the 65Ah battery. Looks genuine (not a "Go" battery).

Yup, thats what i just put in. Mine has the 'Go' branded one, don't think the 4 pots need as much cranking power :)

I replaced the 72 amp battery on my car last year for another 72 amp battery! :y :y

Hmmmm, I remember reading that somewhere too. I think it was in response to a thread I started when I needed a new battery.
Here it is ::)

I need to double check mine again then (sure it was an 85AH one), I know it had a 65AH one on from new.
IIRC it was Chrisgixer who found out certain listed batteries don't fit on the tray.

Trade club is wrong for a 2.2, it should be a 70 Ah battery.

I've fitted a 95ah one in my diesel, same price as the 85ah but the jacket won't fit.
