Got some Vectra V6 cam covers from an X25XE engine on a 98 & want to fit them to my 3.0 97 Omega. I would have thought Vectra gaskets but mechanic says they dont fit, so can anyone help please :(
-
i remember this being posted up some time ago, the veccy covers were alloy and when polished they looked nice, but there was a good reason why they wouldnt fit the Omega.
Someone wih a better memory will be able to explain in more depth

You can fit them but, you need to put the one with the oil filler on the drivers side bank and then cope with the significantly reduced access to the oil filler.
Its not ideal but, can be lived with.....and yes they do fit.

Hi,
Not 100% sure but from what i've read on here before they are interchangeable, just the oil filler in different position.
