Title: Omega handbrake cable...
Post by: Robin Hood on 14 December 2009, 10:40:19
I’ve searched the forum and checked tradeclub and only come up with one part number (2440462).  Is it the same part(s) for saloons and estates?  Thanks.

Can you let me know the engine type (e.g. Z16XE) and I might be able to do it on thursday

Sutton Auto Factors have the cables for sub 20 quid a set

It’s an early ’03 1.6 Club which I believe is the Z16XE. :y

Definitely a twin cam, but not sure if it’s a Z16XE or X16XEL.  The engine number I’ve been given is 20Z57773.

Was planning to replace the rear brakes and cables today.  The parts arrived from the factors but Halshaw’s (dealers) didn’t have the rear pads of all things.  Needed to order.   :o
