Evening All
My wifes Audi 80 TDi is a real pita to start on these very cold mornings, usually not starting at all. This is no good as she has to work night shifts and I obviously can't have a car failling to start at 6 in the morning in a dark car park.
Im pretty sure its the glow plugs, and even if it isn't it won't hurt to change them, we've never done them in 2 1/2 years.
I am ordering a set tomorrow but we have to use the car possibly over christmas before these get delivered so what I want to know is,
If I was to switch the ignition on 2 or 3 times, each time waiting for the glow plug light to go out, would this possibly help with the starting, or if their stuffed their stuffed.
Like I say, I am ordering the plugs, just don't expect to get them this side of xmas.
Thanks as always.
