Title: A big thanks
Post by: acura on 26 December 2009, 17:39:05
To those who post 'how to' guides.
I've just changed the drivers door lock motor and would still be trying to get the door card off but for the guide.  ::)

Can I bring mine round while it's still fresh in your mind? ;) For the very first time my driver's door has been a little sluggish in opening due to the cold weather.  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D

You could I guess, not too far from you in Skelmersdale but read Tunnie's guide and save yourself a trip.

A first-class job it is too. I may do a guide when I do my 2.2 exhaust manifold gasket complete with sheared studs  :'( I may need some help posting it though.

Its actually not a bad job on the 4 pots, you have plenty of room to see everything and get good access.

Whilst WD40 is not the best oil to use, its worth soaking those bolts and nuts in it, twice a day every day until you do it....

Watch the exhaust flexi join too, around 100-120k and the age they are now those flexi's are getting a bit brittle. Mine went at around 115k.

That would be great, I hope to do mine this weekend weather permitting. I'll read your guide first.  :y
