Title: Carpet Removal

I need to pull up the carpet in the rear passenger side, whats the best way? Bench out, then side plastic skirting?

Should be able to do it that way. If not it`s removing pass front seat

Yes that's the easiest way :y You can get away with just lifting the bench up as the carpet only goes under it an inch or so.

yeah only needs to be lifted a tad, the hole on the underneath of the car goes straight though into the cabin  :o

Explains the wet floor in the footwell, i'd like to try and seal it from both ends.

Outside will be - bathroom sealant + araldite to seal

Inside, some kind of metal plate, araldited down

Make sure it's well stuck... The MOT tester will give it a good prod when testing ;)

Wouldn't it be worth getting something like that welded?
