Title: My wife and cars
Post by: Elite Pete on 21 June 2007, 09:48:02
My wife is jinxed

Ive been working in Slough for the last 4 weeks and I took my wifes car because its a small wiesel and loads cheaper to run. The first week there the wife phoned and told me the battery of the Omega had gone flat which was very supprising as its a new battery, it turned out one of the relays on the cooling fans had thrown a wobbly and stuck on draining the battery. I came home after 2 weeks to see the wife (honestly) and go the the Lakes meet and handed the Rover wiesel back to her in good working order and took the Omega to the Lakes where Mark and Jamie fixed the relay (thanks fellas). On the Saturday the wife phoned and said she couldn't get the Rover open with the remote and when she opened the door with the key and try to start it the car was dead so she got Green Flag to take the car home (the idiot from Green Flag said it was the chip in the key at fault). After the Lakes meet I went home and replaced the battery in the remote and all was well so I took the Rover back to Slough, anyway this week the wife phones and she's now managed to jinx the bloody power steering on the Omega.

Anyone got a females push bike for sale ::)

I'm sure we could all take in turns to ring up and say "get the decorating done", "mow the lawns", "stop spending all your time on that bloody car", "cook the tea", "do the dishes", "go shopping", etc etc etc
I draw the line at any other wifely duties tho!  ::)

It would be just your luck that the buyer wouldn't collect the goods ;D
