I hit 27 in October so i thought " oh brilliant it will come down quite a bit in January" .......how wrong i was! :o
Just dont see how they can justify putting it up when in the last 4 years its been coming down , very slowly, and ive not cost them a penny in a claim :-?

According to the insurance companies they pasi out on average £1.04 for every £1.00 they took last year which is why on average base premiums are set to go up by 10-20% >:(

I'm 37 got 19 years no claims and complain at paying £238 fully comp. The problem is most insurance companies only class 5 years as maximum no claims discount. At my rate I should be paid to have bloody insurance the robbing little tinkers.(i'll get off my soapbox now)
-
I'm 27, 2 years no claims and I pay £547 TPFT including a DR10 6 years ago and GATSO bonus points early last year.
That covers both a '98 3.0 Omega Elite (CAT 1 Alarm & Immob) and a 94 Mk3 2.0 8v Diplomat (FF Alarm & Immob).
Access to other vehicles, including a company vehicle. Annual Mileage on private cars estimated 5k.
Through Elephant.
Shop around, and play one firm off another.

Excellent point, especially for young drivers. I have both my Parents (clean licenses, no claims to the hilt) on my policy. Neither of them drive my cars, and even if they did, their own policies would cover them, but I added them to reduce my premium!

Just renewed my insurance - 51yo, 5 yrs NCB protected fully comp on 2.0 Omega with Swiftsure £240.
I'm happy! :y

So much depends on your postcode. I recently moved from a semi rural area to a new build flat in North Manchester and my premium increased by 40%!!!
