Title: Reversing sensors: Pegeot 807 ('03)
Post by: Turk on 11 January 2010, 21:40:41
The reversing sensors on my mates 807 have thrown a wobbly.
Occasionally on selecting reverse, instead of only beeping when there is something in range, he gets a continuous beep. Other times it works fine.
We've changed the two sensors a local "specialist" reckoned were faulty, but it's still has this intermitent fault. He's selling it this week and wants it put right before hand.
Any ideas on what else to check ?

Unplug one at a time to see which corner the fault is?

Tried that, but unplugging any just sets off some warning tone.

Pop the bumper off and check the harness for dinks and chafs.

All is fine regarding wiring etc.  I was thinking more along the lines of a module/little black box type issue.
