I haven't bought a new car in like seven years. Anyone buy a Toyota Camry 2009 recently? How did you go about negotiating a good deal? In the past, I would give the dealer a drive out price that I wanted and go from there. What about interest rates and rebates now-a-days? I am also thinking about getting a Honda Accord, but it seems like they don't advertise for 0.0% financing. In the past, Honda didn't seem to be flexible in negotiating also, not sure about now-a-days.Thanks.

Play them all againt each other. Ring round all the main dealers in your yellow pages.
Find out the best deal and then go in and negotiate, if you dont get extra cash discount then am for addons and goodies, of free servicing, anythinhg, they try to get the most from you, you just have to be prepared to call thier bluff and walk away, if you do, leave them with your mobile number when you walk...... They want your business no matter how little proffit, they like to brag how many cars they have shifted. :y

The only dealers I couldn't get a deal from last year were Mercedes... And even then it was because I was squeezing them too hard! The deal was reasonable (on a brand new A Class for SWMBO), but I wanted more ::) ::)

As far as I know, you cannot get a Camry in the UK, assuming you're in the UK. Just like you can't get a new Scorpio, Omega or Maxima. These size cars are gone.
The Accord comes in different shapes, i.e Europe / US, but I've read the Accord beats the Camry. :y
