Title: Nankang sport NS2
Post by: SP_3.2 on 13 January 2010, 15:07:36
Has any one used/using them and if so how have they found them. Seen some at a good price . Seem to recall having Nankang on the car when i get it but that was over 3 years ago now.

Thanks

Steve.

A bit iffy I have found....give fleetfit at loughborough a call and see what they will do some Kumho KU31's for as I found them very competitive.

Got them on my Carlton - 265/40x18 rears, 235/35x18 fronts.

Like driving on ice all year round. :o

Bloody things don't wear too easily though, must be hard as Hell itself!

I have Kumhos on the back of my MV6 - seem really good, and would happily fit them to the front too.

Thatsthe double whammy there hard so they dont grip and because they are hard it takes ages for them to wear down so you have to put up with them or replace them before the treads down or if your flush replace them before needed  :-/

I've gor them and got to say, they've been really good in this weather. Mind you, I'm using them on 225 55 16 with a nice large sidewall, not so good with lower profile ones.

I'd like to do a track day to wear the buggers out! :y
Thing is, it probably wouldn't be just the tyres that got knackered!!! ::)

I had a nightmare few days last winter in snow/ice with Nankangs on the rear of the cdx. Replaced them with Kumhos and can't believe how much better it was in the recent snow/ice :y
