Title: wishbone bushes.

Ok i know its probably been covered a million times,but whats the best way do go about changing these bushes,do i go for uprated polybushes or standard.Also in the haynes book of 'dangle berries' it says you need a press to remove em,is this correct. :-/

They are a git to press in / out of the wishbones. You will need a substantial press. The best way is to buy a pair of pattern wishbones with bushes installed.

Well, to me. as i've mentioned on other threads recently, and taking time effort cost and long term reliability into account, i think the best way is to buy a pair of complete wishbones made by lemforder and fit those as a straight new for old swap. However i'm not familiar with the poly bush thing.

The bushes can be cut out if you are careful & you don't need a press to fit poly bushes. I got some pattern wishbones, removed the bushes, fitted poly & still got change from £100
