I need to buy a torque wrench, for obvious reasons, but am not sure what to go for. Should I buy a 3/8" or 1/2" drive? What range of torque does in need to cover? Should I buy both? How much should I pay and are there any brands to look out for or to avoid?
Also, do I need to buy an angular torque gauge as well? I seem to remember that there were some angle settings in the guide to changing wheel bearings.
Cheers

I think a lot of the guys on here use the Sealey range.
You probably need 2, one for low torque settings (down to about 6nm) and one with high.
Have a look at their web site.

I bought one of these http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SEALEY-Torque-Wrench-Micrometer-Style-3-8-Drive-7-112Nm_W0QQitemZ160114983642QQihZ006QQcategoryZ30917QQcmdZViewItem on Markies advice and its a good torque wrench for many jobs on the Omega. I also bought a set of 3 draper converters for about £7 to give me all 3 drive size options
Have a look at the original thread http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/YaBB.pl?num=1178878761/9#9

Yep, Sealey or Draper range.
(lets say we skip the 4NM for the disc securing screw...)
8NM for rocker cover and other misc
25-55NM for general use
110NM for road wheels
(and lets also skip the 320NM for front wheel bearing...)
You can cover the range with 2 wrenches, though you may find 3 more convenient:
Low-torque with 1/4" drive
Medium-torque with 3/8" drive
High-torque with 1/2" drive
