It's not an Omega, but does warrant a mention.
I had a 1966 2000 SC P6 Rover that had covered 280,000 & still ran really sweet. A Rover buff bought her off my mum after she had covered even more miles :)

205,300 on my '99T 2L gls. :y :y
That's overdue a HG then ;D
I think its generally fair to say the 2.0 are good for around 200k, the v6 seems to go on until cambelt does damage or car scrapped for other reasons, and TD until it shoves a piston through the block.

HG seams ok for now, but i do have a new timming belt in the boot waiting to be fitted, should be good for a few more miles after that. :)

My 2.2 DTI is only showing 101,000, BUT...
its an ex taxi that has shown the same milage on the last 4 MOT's, and when i took the dash clocks out i found a sticker on the back that said...

a piffling 91k here on 52 plate 3.2
my mondeo was falling to bits at the same mileage, and not in a way that a forum like this could have helped, like a beyond economical repair sort of way, clutch gone, bottom end knock top end rattle, breaked steering rack.
Omega seems good for another 90k i hope. :-X (Q some horrendous engine failure or accident on the way home)

Apart from new tyres, & battery (consumables anyway) only an alternator, and a aux belt & tensioner, and a track rod end. (obviously, lots of oil changes!! and an ATF change as well)
Cheap motoring??
