It's got standard of 250 BHP but this has had a superchip on it and has been on a rolling road is putting out 283 BHP on the sheet all through the front wheels, it's properly quick 0-62 standard is 6.3 secs I think and top speed is in excess of 160 after what i've been reading, did 70 mph in 2nd gear earlier though so it's no slow coach :o Will have to go to Germany and try it out  ;D

It's got 72k miles and has been up and down the motorway all day everyday, has millions of recipts for all work and full service history up to 70k miles so thats not due for a while  :D Also has lots of recipts for front tyres though and they're low now has a recipt for 2 new tyres only 6k miles ago :(

MPG was 33 MPG on the way back that was doing 85-90 all the way. Erm round town where it was to be honest thrashed as I was playing with it, was 12 MPG  :-[ Well put it this way had just under half a tank when I got in it, it was still above 1/4 of a tank when I got off the motorway, after a spirited drive it now says I have 21 miles until the tank is empty  ;D

THAT is definitely nice. Of course, cars like these MUST be treated to the Autobahn so the horses can work properly  :D  Now, regarding the mpg, nothing to be embarrassed about ... I get this kind of MPG almost everyday in my 3.0 v6 mig  :P ::)

I think you might want to look at some tyres with a better wear index. Have a gander here:

No its the GM global high feature V6 unit with a twin scroll turbo on and variable valve timing (an LP9 I think in the US). Think a couple of Cadillacs had them (SRX and BLS)

i do really really like that, dash is a bit dark though  :(

How are running costs? - The 2.8 is similar to the Vx Insignia lump is it not? Wonder how much of the parts needed for it can be got on Vx TC  :-/

Same engine as used in the 2.8 Insignia, same engine as used in the Vectra VXR, it's the GM unit so basically every bit can be bought on Vauxhall TC. MPG on a motorway run recently, with cruise set at 90 MPH was 33.8 MPG.
