Don't know what those leads are like (never used them), but I'm calling bullshit on the claims of increased MPG & power.

PS

No point in asking the same question in 2 different sections, it won't get answered any quicker and will more than likely serve to cause confusion.

I had 10mm silicon race leads... 3 core. They made a noticeable improvement in both on my '89 Range Rover but I doubt there'd be much benefit on a modern ignition system :-/ :-/

[edit]Just seen the other thread and looked at the link... I had 4 core leads... The same ones in fact ::) ::)

Like I said... Gave an improvement on an old RR but doubt there'd be anything to gain on a modern system[/edit]

Were you comparing the race leads to brand new standard leads, or to the (no doubt) shagged leads you took off?

Compared to relatively new standard leads...

Me too. The fuel burns or it doesn't. If it doesn't you get a misfire. :y
