Title: New mot.
Post by: Amigo on 01 February 2010, 17:48:50
The Beastie charmed the tester into another pass today but with a few advisories as follows.
001   Offside (ON LIMIT) Track rod end has slight play.

002   Front lower (BOTH INNER) Suspension arm rubber bush deterirated but not resulting in excessive movement.

   003   Brake pipe slightly corroded.

   004   BRAKE PEDAL RUBBER S/DET

005   Rear view magic tree lacking odour!!!!!!

So two new wishbones, may as well replace both tack rods, can make the brake pipe & will change front pads while she's in bits as they are low. At least it's all front end work so can be done in one hit......

A little unsure about the VOSA approved air freshener though??? ::) :D

She's a cracking car Broocie (as if i have to tell you)!! I've spent good money on her, some things needed doing others just because i wanted to make her my own so to speak. i can honestly say i enjoy every mile i do in her whether cruising in comfort or playing with the loud pedal it's good to feel confident you can set off anywhere (& i do) with no worries.

Look after 'em & they look after you back. :y 8-)
