Title: Sport Tourer?
Post by: Blackie_No1 on 27 January 2010, 20:20:20
I have heard folk on here and seen folk on here with "Drives: Sport Tourer"

Is this a specific model, different to the MV6 or what?

They were somewhere between GLS and CD spec, Estates with Rear Spoiler and Recaro Seats, normally 2.5 from memory, appart from that nothing simullar to MV6.

The Tourer is a 2.5 V6 Estate with irmscher rear spoiler, electric front windows, electric sunroof and air con.Single cd/radio and 'individual' trim a bit of a halfway house between GLS and CD trim.I only know this as I have one sat on my drive that I use for spare parts for my CDX.

Yep, agree with hannajudesdad, i have a 2.5 v6 tourer estate and he described it to a tee, no such model as a sports tourer. It is based on a gls spec car but with the factory sunroof and air con as well.Mine is now upspecced[ is that a word]? but it started out compleatly stock.
Gary. :)

We had a 'Select' estate which was a 'base' model, but still a blooming good car which we had for 7 years... :y

Some facelifts are called Sport, as in 2.2 Sport.  I guess the estate version could be called.....

Geoff, the reflection has not got anything that my tourer has already, and the reflection was an upspeced base model to gls spec that the tourer is based on.So tec not base but was untill they tried to get rid of the last models by bunging on extras.
