Have bought a 3.0 MV6 Manual with a police chipped ECU in it, MANUAL box and LSD, this will be stripped from the car and installed into the project ute, giving it once finished and modded, approx 225 to 250 horse depending how the tuning and exhaust work goes.
.... to the point... Leaves me with a omega b saloon shell with interior and odds and sods on it. Police MV6 1996/7 shape in metalic green.
will be receiving car in a couple weeks, so any parts requests (for small price) get your requests in now. as once the car is engineless she will go to the crusher after recycled most the bits off her.
(all parts available except engine, box, ecu, running gear.
doesnt leave a lot but leaves xenon prefacelift lights, some interior parts, pannels, bumpers etc etc etc...)
rather benefit you guys to keep something running, than discard the shell to the crusher without helping your needs first!

ps, dont send me messages about a police mv6 being called a special, as the early up to 2001 where called mv6. only the 3.2 called specials.
there are no leather or 17s tho obviously!
-
also leaves me with a 2.0 ecotech engine and box for omega B taken from the ute, so anyone needing one come and see her running first? wont be dear but wont be free.
this project could help keep a lot of older cars ticking!

Well, if there is a "special chip", why on earth it is not commercially available and why don't all 3,0 owners have that under the hood? It is a known fact, in Finland as well as everywhere else that chipping or remapping Omega V6-engines just is not of any use.
Of course I might be wrong but I have studied quite a bit of tuning of these V6 engines and best results with remapping/chipping have been between 5-10 horsepower and that is not worth the cost and hassle.
