Title: Big thanks to Darth Loo-Knee & OOF
Post by: cmeonthemove on 03 February 2010, 23:28:40
Superb job by DLK on the Elite today. It was a long day and several hours on the road thanks to the non-stop M6 roadworks, but well worth the trip to the farm. It was suprising how neglected the Elite seemed but she's had some much needed TLC. Booking the MoT tomorrow and now expect the Elite to fly through.

Now off to bed to catch up on much missed sleepy time!

Thanks OOF you're the best  :y

Glad you got home safe, was wondering if you may have to stop over with all the snow we had :D

Think its been a while since she recieved any TLC but thats all changed now :)

Good Luck for the MOT :y

Cheers. MoT is booked for the 17th. I mentioned the brake hose and it turned out they did mean the pipe leading to the flex, not the flex itself so was told wrong originally.

See if they can knock you some off the price of the MOT as it was there fault.. worth a try ;)

The local garage told me originally I needed a flexi brake hose on the o/s front so got Daz to order one, but when it came to fitting it turned out there was nothing wrong with it. It later turned out the garage meant to say it was the pipe leading to the flexi-pipe (which just needed cleaning up), but Vx wouldn't take the flexi-pipe back, leaving me £40 out of pocket.
