Walked past a a Golf this morning parked on the verge, on a main road, enigine running, lights on & de-frosting. No one sat in it, i walked for a few mins & then heard a car door close, turned around to see the owner getting in.
It amazes me why people still do this :-? I guess they think it'll never happen to them :-/
I had enough time to easily drive off with it :(
If it wasn't a VW i'd would've had it away :D

insurance won't cover them, should have driven it around the corner ;D

There were a number of well reported cases this winter of TDA while cars were warming up even in the owners drive resulting in death or injury - VX recommend driving off immediately after starting of course, but we all do it... :-/

You wouldn't have got far without a coil pack failing!

I used to in my old works vans. Turned on at 8am, switched off when I got back home at some point between 5pm and 9pm.
Some smart alec did move it and driver it round the corner once.... ....then walked over to where I was working, surprised I was not chasing after it.... ...until I mentioned I only lived a few hundred yards away, so I wasn't that bothered ::)
