In swmbos new CDX . Left Glasgow at 2pm - arrived Bournemouth 4pm. Home at midnight.
Easy peasy journey - utterly boring and nothing of note on it. Car performed very well.
Only issue being sunroof doesnt work ( more on that tomorrow) other than that 446 miles with the dregs out of £60 petrol and 33.8mpg..I did push it every so often , just to check it was ok :y
Beer and bed ;)

going out shortly to investigate this - pushing the sunroof button just doesnt feel right....feels like somethings stuck.
Worst case scenario ill take the trim off and swap the motor with the mv6 one - see if it works ( just pick up a scrapper motor then)
Really should have taken your number Jamie - actualy passed a sign for Brackley :(

yup, if you went up M40, I'm just a short blast down a dual carriageway from Jnc 10 or A road to Jnc 11

Long day eh Markie, glad you made it :y

Ha! If you took my number Markie, and if I lived anywhere near the M6 and if I was in and if I knew what time you were driving past, I could have pretended to be out! :y

Always use mine. Sometimes ECO on, sunroof wide open. A/C is great, but sometimes I just don't like it...

Glad the trip went ok. 33.8mpg something I can only dream about :(

That sort of economy should be achievable on a decent run, even from auto, but esp from manual...

I did the trip to the Lakes and apart from a 20 mile blast to catch Timbuk up I did 70 to 75mph and got 20.3mpg. It was better coming home after you and Mark had a tinker with it but still no where near 33.8mph
